North Charleston Police investigate early morning shooting near school

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - The North Charleston Police Department is investigating an early morning shooting near the Chicora School of Communications.

According to reports, NCPD Officers responded to Leland Street and Florida Avenue at about 5:20 a.m. and found a man lying on the corner, holding his right leg.

Detectives on the scene have centered their investigation around a bicycle and bullet casings found on Leland and Florida Streets.
