North Charleston records two drugs busts

NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - The North Charleston Police Department announced six drug related arrests and confiscations made within the last week.

On Friday, July 17, 2009, a search warrant executed on a Boots Avenue address led to the seizure of 237 grams of marijuana, two guns, one of which reported stolen with the Walterboro Police Department, and a large amount of cash. Two people were charged in connection to that case.

Jeremy Darnel Turner was charged with PWID Marijuana and PWID Marijuana within a ½ mile Proximity of a School. Brian Anthony Sims was charged with Possession of Marijuana 3rd offense.

Also on Friday, a search warrant executed on a Mott Avenue address led to the seizure of nearly 59 grams of cocaine base, 632 grams of marijuana, a Luger handgun, large amounts of cash, a 2005 Dodge Magnum, and several items consistent with manufacturing cocaine base. Four people have been charged in connection with that case.

Jamound Fontant Randolph was charged with Trafficking Cocaine Base, PWID Cocaine
Base within ½ Proximity of a School, and Resisting Arrest.

Rodriquez Randolph was charged with Trafficking Cocaine Base, PWID Cocaine Base
Within a ½ Proximity of a School, Manufacturing Cocaine Base, Possession of a Firearm
During the Commission of a Violent Crime (Trafficking Cocaine Base), PWID
Marijuana, and PWID Marijuana Within a ½ Mile Proximity of a School.

Karim Moore was charged with PWID Marijuana and PWID Marijuana Within ½
Proximity of a School.

Derrick Latron Stanley was charged with PWID Marijuana and PWID Marijuana within
½ Mile Proximity of a School.
