Reward offered in Marlene Linder homicide

WALTERBORO, SC - Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $1000 for information in the shooting death of Marlene Linder.

Colleton County Sheriff's Deputies say Marlene M. Linder, 42, pictured to the right, was slain by multiple blasts from a shotgun as she was trying to get inside her home at 434 Briarleaf Circle at about 3:30 a.m. on Sunday, May 24, 2009.

Neighbors heard two shots and then a four wheeler leaving the area shortly thereafter.

Detectives with the Colleton County Sheriff's Office have followed up on several leads, but thus far there has not been any arrest made in this homicide.
