Sheriff's Office seeks driver involved in hit-and-run

CHARLESTON COUNTY, SC - The Charleston County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help locating the driver of a dark-color late model vehicle, possibly a Ford Mustang, that was involved in a hit-and-run accident Monday night at 9422 U.S. Highway 78 near the Ladson fairgrounds.

The victim was operating a moped travelling west on U.S. 78 toward Summerville when he was struck. He was transported by EMS to an area hospital but did not suffer any life-threatening injuries, authorities said.
If you, or someone you know, have any information regarding any crime, you are encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers. You could earn a reward up to $1,000.
